Literature Text

The universe is fragile. It's like sugar; sweet one moment, but it crumbles under the gentle pressure of love and hate, indifference too. The entire universe. And yet, no one knows much anything about it. Maybe that's why (Y/N) was so interested in the entire system of it, the astronomy and physics that kept entire galaxies from crashing together in the law of inertia. Funny how it was gravity, and how it was the weakest of the four forces of nature. But even with he knowledge of both primitive and modern knowledge, there was still one mystery remaining: Spiral energy. Through her discoveries, (Y/N), a modern scientist trying to discover the secrets of the heavens, she'd founded the mere theory of spiral energy, and how it functioned by the spiritual willpower. It was like natural selection to an extent that a spiral-creature's will to survive determined how much it would survive, thrive, and adapt, or lack of, in an environment.

Spiral energy itself, was based of DNA, in fact, it was DNA. Therefore, every creature known to man, at least in the universe (Y/N) knew, was a spiral being. Then, everything changed when the anti-spiral attacked. At least, that's what they were called. For years, other scientists worked on the thin lines of worm-holes and alternate universes. The female too worked in this when she wasn't driven with determination and focus on the spiral energy she knew so little about. They'd even developed a prototype worm-hole to travel through inter-dimensional universes called the Neo-Universal Worm or just "NUW". And for a few years she worked on a device that could track spiral energy from these alternate dimensions. That's when the first strike had came from the anti-spirals.

The population had just hit 15 billion, and with no warning, the atmosphere was filled with a bitter wailing noise, and an explosion could be heard. Then suddenly, while (Y/N) had her fellow scientists sat with coffee and cheesecake, celebrating their success in work, the TV near them flashed on and a blurry figure spoke, warning of the earths destruction by the anti-spirals to stop the universe's end, the kind of things you'd hear come out of the mouth of someone whom should be in a mental-health facility. However, the vice sounded absolutely menacing, and absolutely sure that the end was drawing near, and the chaos just outside the lab building proved it. All of the men and women in the room stood as the television turned off, and looked back and forth to each other.

"We must use NUW, it is the only way we can get help," said one scientist, worried.
"No," retorted (Y/N). "It's only a prototype, we're not completely sure it's safe yet-"
"Dr.(L/N), you said yourself that it was ready for testing."
"Yes," added another scientist. "It's now or never for the testing."
"Alright, she sighed, looking out at the city. "It's now or never. . ."

They started up the machine, and stepped inside its large gates holding the entirety of that universe, and my more in its mechanic 'arms.'
Suddenly they were screaming because the speed of light was tearing them apart, limb by limb but then suddenly, with a flash, the machine blanked out of time and space along with the scientists until they stopped, separated and with no way to get home. It was a disaster.

The female woke up upon a shadow cast over her body. There was blade-like thing held to her neck. She looked up to see male-animal thing glaring down at her, shark-like teeth showing.
"What are you doing here, naked ape?" he asked in apathy, pressing the blade closer to her neck. She looked carefully up for a moment, then noticed her surroundings.
"It worked! It worked!" she yelled in wonder. "Oh my God, NUW worked!"
The male raised an eyebrow at her. "I asked you a goddamn question, now answer it."
(Y/N) had to catch her breath before she could answer. "It's a long story-"
"Well if you couldn't tell, I don't have a lot of time to deal with you naked apes."
"I think we're called 'humans' but-"
"Yes, I know very well."
"Anyways, if you keep interrupting me then I can't tell you why I'm here. So, have you heard of spiral energy?"
He nods slowly, annoyed. "Well that makes my job easier. So basically, I came from a different universe and-"
"Impossible," he interrupts yet again, pressing the blade into her neck and drawing blood.
"If you kill me then I can't finish," she says quietly, pausing before continuing. "As I was saying, these being called anti-spirals are trying to destroy spiral-beings and everyone will die on my planet in my universe if we don't get help. Well, it's just me now, it seems I've been separated from both my fellow scientists and the machine that brought me here.

He takes his blade from her neck and grumbles on about how "naked apes" are "ugly liars" trying to "fuck up his job" and such.
She stood up, wiping the crimson liquid from her neck. "And I see we haven't introduced ourselves. My name is (F/N) (L/N)." She held out a hand to him, tilting her head slightly to the side and smiling softly. The male looked at it in disgust and held up his blade in both defiance and warning.
"I see the greeting from my universe is different from yours," she said after a while, nodding to herself.

He snarled. "My name is Viral of the Far Eastern Theater of the Human Eradication forces."

"Wow, pretty long title for someone who's not much to look at," she commented, laughing to herself.
"I'll have you know us beastmen are much better looking than you disgusting humans," he bellowed, baring his teeth and threatening (Y/N) with his blade again.

"There you go," she answered, not giving a second glance at his blade. "You can say 'human' now. But we have more important matters." She holds out her arms. "Take me to your leader."

Maybe the universe can wait a bit for saving.
So basically, I had an idea, m'kay. And it works with the fundamentals of alternate universes and science and stuff, so, yeah. Picture not belong to me. You read, I update. And yes, this is in 3rd-Person POV because:kamina head

Looks good so far. Can't wait to read the rest of it. It looks like it's only a few chapters, so I'm assuming it's unfinished =( I've been trying to find some good Viral x OC/Reader fics, but it just seems like there aren't that many out there.
